Pubblicato in Italia con il titolo Tommy e Tuppence: in due s’indaga meglio. Tommy e Tuppence investigano una serie di casi, ispirati da famosi detective in letteratura, mentre cercano di smascherare un gruppo di spie russe.
Partners in Crime sees Tommy and Tuppence, now married for six years, taking on a series of investigations. After the events of the first book, Tommy has been working for the government and he and Tuppence are happily married. However, Tuppence desires the same excitement and sense of adventure of their first investigation, so when they are asked to take over Blunt’s International Detective Agency to uncover messages between Russian spies, they don’t hesitate to accept. They investigate various cases, including finding a missing woman, a lost pearl, attempts of poison, and murder, and for each of them they take inspiration from famous detectives in literature.
This was an entertaining and intriguing read, full of twists, suspense, and wit and I enjoyed it thoroughly!
