Sanditon is another unfinished novel by Jane Austen, the last novel she tried to write before her death, as she began writing in January 1817, with the title The Brothers, writing full eleven chapters before stopping in March.
Sanditon is the name of the small seaside town which one of the characters hopes to turn into a fashionable resort. In just the eleven chapters written by Jane Austen, we meet its inhabitants, the polite society which presents an interesting range of characters.
Sanditon is charming and entertaining and I would have loved to see how it would have ended.
