THIRTEEN is the third novel in the Eddie Flynn’s series, but the book can also be read as a stand alone. Who is Eddie Flynn? He is the defense attorney, the one who defends only people who are really innocent, the one really good at his job and for this reason he ends up on the killing list of the killer hiding between the jurors (also, it seems that even in the two first books he was one someone’s killing list). Eddie is charming, likable, and honest and, as soon as my reading list slims down a bit, I am going to read the first two books in the series.
The story is fast-paced and well-plotted so that I found myself completely glued to the page. The tension is always high and you can help wondering if someone will come out alive at the end. This is a superb legal thriller, one that I highly recommend.
