Cari amici, la pandemia nel mio Paese è una dura prova per i più poveri. Sto pensando alle persone che fanno piccoli lavoretti giornalieri, costrette a casa dalla quarantena comunitaria. La paura del contagio si unisce alla difficoltà di sopravvivenza per molte famiglie, che non hanno cibo e acqua. Ma il mio popolo è generoso e si sta dando da fare per i meno fortunati. E’ lo spirito filippino “bayanihan”, cioè di solidarietà! Uniti più che mai in questo difficile momento!
Bayanihan is one of the most beautiful characteristics of the Filipino culture specially in this time of COVID19 pandemia. With this time of lockdown there’s a lot of people who have no means of sustenance so we can help them and share whatever our fellow citizens need. I just want to share this video to all of , wich shows the spirit of communal unity and cooperation among Filipinos, to avoid the famine because of this pandemia.
