Pubblicato in Italia con il titolo Un letto per due. Tiffy e Leon vivono insieme e condividono un letto ma non si sono mai incontrati… questa è un fantastico romanzo d’esordio che non riuscirete a smettere di leggere.
I lived in London for five years and flat-hunting was my nightmare. It’s very hard to find an affordable place that it’s also clean and safe, so I could relate to Tiffy. Desperate to find a new place to leave after breaking up with her boyfriend, she accepts to share a house with a man she never met. And also to share the bed with him. Leon works night as a nurse so he is at home only during the day, while Tiffy, who works as an editorial assistant in a publishing house, works during the day. For months, Tiffy and Leon never meet, but they leave each other funny notes.
This novel is really beautiful. I loved the characters, realistic, strong, and funny. I loved the story that it’s both humorous and serious, addressing a few thought-provoking themes. And the author’s writing style is clear and keeps the reader glued to the pages. The Flatshare is definitely a book that you should and it should be at the top of your list!
