If you are looking for a story that is both fun and full of mystery then I highly suggest you pick up a copy of The Thursday Murder Club. The Thursday Murder Club solves unresolved cold cases and its members are the retired residents of Cooper’s Chase, “Britain’s First Luxury Retirement Village”. Elizabeth is one of the founders of the group, her past a mystery, but she is full of resources. Joyce, a former nurse, who narrates the story in form of diary and who is always a surprises. Ron, a former Labour Unionist always ready to fight for a case, and Ibrahim, a retired psychologist, the only one who seems to have some sense of technology. When a murder happens close to home, they are more than happy to help the police solve the case.
This is such a fun read. It is addictive, entertaining, and unique and I am really hoping for a sequel.
