This novel by Peter Swanson is the perfect read not only for crime readers, but for all bookworms out there. I adore books about books and this one is pure perfection. The protagonist of the novel Malcom Kershaw, the owner of a bookshop, who a few years ago had published online a list of novels featuring the perfect murder (including one of my favourite novels, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie) and now it seems someone is using that list to go on a killing spree. So Malcolm finds himself involved in the FBI investigation.
First of all, this book is full of twists that you won’t see coming and you’ll be continuously taken by surprise. The plot is brilliant and addictive and the author’s writing is completely captivating. If this isn’t enough to convince you to read it, it includes a list of books that you will certainly add to your TBR (at least, I did). Highly recommended!!!
