The year 2020 is almost over and hopefully the new year will be much better than the one we are leaving.
New year means new books coming out and, of course, there are a few books I am really excited to read.
Some of my favourite authors have new books coming out.

Among them, crime queen CJ Tudor’s new novel, The Burning Girls, is coming out in January and I can’t wait to read it. In the crime genre, I am also looking forward to Elly Griffiths’s new book in the Dr. Ruth Galloways Mysteries, The Night Hawks and Cara Hunter’s fifth book in the DI Fawley series, The Whole Truth, both out in February. Lisa Gardner has a new stand-alone novel coming out in January, Before She Disappearared, as well as Karin Slaughter whose new stand-alone novel, False Witness, comes out in June, but she’s promised a new Will Trent book next year.

And let’s not forget the new novel by Riley Sager, Survive The Night, which promises to be a thrilling read.
In women’s fiction, I am excited for the new novels by Paige Toon, Someone I Used To Know, Beth O’Leary, The Road Trip, and hopefully a new Sophie Kinsella’s novel (keeping my fingers crossed that it could be a new Becky Brandon story).

In fantasy, I am really excited for the new novel by Stephanie Garber, Once Upon a Broken Heart, which I have been waiting for the last two years. Kerri Maniscalco just revealed the title of the sequel to Kingdom of the Wicked, Kingdom of the Cursed, and I can’t wait to see what happens next. One of my favourite books of the year was Fable by Adrienne Young and its sequel, Namesake, is coming out in March, so there won’t be long to wait.
And you, what are you looking forward to read?
Happy New Year x
