Non ancora pubblicato in Italia. Un thriller coinvolgente pieno di colpi di scena e suspense che vi terrà con il fiato sospeso.
I do love a thriller full of twists that keeps on the edge of my seat the entire time I am reading and that’s what Every Last Fear was for me. I read it in one sitting, one night, to be precise, completely addicted to the story and its characters.
The story focuses on the Pine family. Seven years ago, the oldest son, Danny, was accused of murdering his girlfriend and he was sent to prison. Now, his family, his parents and his two youngest siblings, are found dead during a holiday in Mexico. The only remaining sibling, twenty-one-year-old Matt, goes to Mexico to retrieve the bodies, but he quickly realizes that his family may have not died from an accident as the Mexican police suspects and an FBI agent is of the same opinion. Why were they killed? Does it have to do with Danny’s sentence?
Full of tension and suspense, this story completely captured. I loved the thrilling part with murder, suspicion, running away from a serial killer, but also how the author depicted the Pine family, how they never doubted Danny’s innocence, especially the father, who did everything he could to prove it. This is an incredible and gripping story that will capture you from the first to the very last page.
