It seems bubble pods are the newest craze when it comes to outdoor dining in the new normal.Understandable, considering how intimate they are! They also keep you at a safe distance from other guests, and can easily look aesthetic with the right design and decor. Now get ready for SM City Baguio’s Dine Under the Sky feature!

SM currently has four transparent miniSky Pods, which were introduced last January 29, and they’re situated across their Sky Terrace. Each dome, complete with a dinner table, is made of acetate walls and can accommodate a maximum of four people.

Flanked by vibrant greenery and a night sky twinkling above, the entire setup makes for the perfect date with your significant other, while still adhering to social distancing protocols. Not to mention, the surrounding area is also Instagram-shot ready!

Interested mall-goers may book a Sky Pod for an hour and half through SM City Baguio’s official Facebook page. Once the appointment has been finalized, you’ll be prompted to order in advance from a selection of restaurants within the mall. If you’re feeling a mix of multiple cuisines, you can even order from various food places as long as your total bill is worth a minimum of P2,000 pesos.

According to their Instagram page, a sanitation team will disinfect the Sky Pods before and after use to ensure a safe and comfortable dining experience.
