Non ancora pubblicato in Italia. Cosa succede quando un gruppo di donne ne ha avuto abbastanza e decide che è il momento che la verità venga a galla? Le conseguenze saranno disastrose…

I love the actress Reese Whiterspoon, she is amazing in Legally Blonde and Big Little Lies. She is also a reader with fantastic taste and she has her own book club on Instagram which I follow. So when she revealed her July pick was Whisper Network, the debut novel by Chandler Baker, I went on Amazon to see what it was about and I found it intriguing.
The protagonists of this novel are four women. They work for a corporate company where they have to endure their hateful boss Ames Garrett. When it seems that Ames is on the run to become CEO of the company they work for, these four women decide that it’s time that the whole world finds out what kind of person their boss is. However, things quickly get out of control…
This is a story about sexual harassment, motherhood, post-partum depression, murder, secrets, and lies. Those four women juggle a family and a demanding job and they are looking for the recognition they deserve so the novel it’s both a mystery and a social commentary. I liked how the author structure the novel, inserting depositions and police interviews between the chapters. If you are looking for an honest and relatable story full of twists, then Whisper Network is a must-read!
