Cari amici, il Natale è davvero gioioso nel mio Paese e viene celebrato il più a lungo possibile. Già da settembre la gente comincia a cantare le canzoni natalizie e ad addobbare le case con decorazioni. A livello nazionale il conto alla rovescia inizia 100 giorni prima di Natale. E le città si vestono a festa. I giardini del Triangolo di Ayala, metro Manila sono un vero spettacolo di luci. E la metropolitana di Manila, mi piace sottolinearlo, è una delle più grandi aree urbane nel mondo con 24 milioni di persone. Merry Christmas!
The holiday season won’t be over without listening to carols and seeing Christmas lights decorating the streets of Metro Manila. But there are spots when there’s really nothing to do but wonder at the lights sparking brightly at night.
The Festival of Lights in Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati in Metro Manila comes to life this Christmas season from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with 30-minute intervals for its Lights and Sounds Show. For a couple of years, the garden has been a favorite destination during the holiday for its splendid display of Christmas lights. And some exert all the effort in putting up the grandest Christmas trees, some establishment go all out and turn an entire space into a Christmas miracle.
