The Department of Tourism (DOT) launched the new campaign slogan #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines last February 18, 2019 at the National Museum of Natural History in Manila featuring crowd-sourced photos, videos contributed for free, redesigned logo and a Filipino made font.

The DOT is proudly bannered the first of its 100% crowd-sourced videos, zero shot footage, zero paid actors, smaller carbon footprint that came from all the travelers who visit the Philippines. The DOT also said that every contributed photo to the new tourism campaign will be equal to a donation to the World-Wide Fund for the care of our environment.

The DOT Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat also encouraged everyone to join the multitudes of netizens to use the hashtag #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines in their travel photos and videos to get the chance to be featured in their videos too.

The tourism campaign logo with a new look is derived from local textile of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao Region. It is a simplified “banig” containing Filipino traditional colors blue, red, and yellow that signify “weaving the Philippines together.”
