Ancora non pubblicato in Italia. Il nuovo romanzo della mia autrice preferita parla di amicizia, amore, segreti e non sarà facile da mettere giù.

Paige Toon is, without a doubt, one of my favourite authors. Every year I wait for her new book to come out and I buy it as soon as it comes out, sometimes even not bothering to read the blurb because I just know I’ll love it. I love her writing style, she creates relatable and likable characters, and her stories are both heartbreaking and heartwarming.

Her latest novel is set in Cambridge. The protagonist is Hannah, a young woman in her twenties, who after years of travelling the world, is back in Cambridge to housesit for her uncle while working as an optician. One day, she meets Sonny and the attraction is clear for both of them, but they have demons and secrets from their past to face, so they decide to be just friends. But can they really just be friends? And can they face their past?

The Minute I Saw You quickly became one of my favorite novels from this author (at the top there is still The Last Piece of My Heart). I adored the characters and the story is so beautiful that I never wanted to end. It’s a story of love, friendship, and family that will capture you from the first to the very last page.
