Meadowbank School is a prestigious girls’ prep school in England. Late one night, two teachers investigate a mysterious flashing light in the sports pavilion and they find the body of the unpopular games mistress. Two police detective start the investigation, but, as most secrets and mysteries come to light, a young student decides it is time that the famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot makes his appearance to bring the case to a close.
In this novel, Agatha Christie’s famous detective is not the main character of the story as he makes his appearance late in the novel. Protagonists are the young student who could be the target of the killers and the teachers at the school. Nevertheless, this is still a fantastic read with its suspense, twists, and international intrigue. Highly recommended!
