If you are looking for a new procedural series to get addicted to, then I highly recommend the Cat Kinsella series. It’s fun, smart, and suspenseful and the writing is captivating.
Cat Kinsella is a DC in the London police. She is a relatable and flawed protagonist, she is intelligent and witty and I really liked her. She is keeping secrets from her boyfriend, her family, and her colleagues that could ruin her career and her relationships.
Shed No Tears is the third novel in this fantastic series and it centers on the discovery of a body in a field. The victim had been missing for six years and she was believed to be the last victim of a series killer who is now dead. When new evidence shows that maybe she wasn’t killed by the serial killer, the police ask: who did kill her?
If, like me, you haven’t read the first two book in the series, not to worry, you can read it as a stand-alone (as I did, although I plan to catch up with the series soon). Full of twists and suspense, I couldn’t put this book down. I loved the characters, the plot is well-developed and addictive, and the writing is exceptional. Don’t miss it!!!
