Pubblicato in Italia con il titolo Lord Peter e l’altro. Per risolvere un omicidio, Lord Peter va sotto copertura in un’agenzia pubblicitaria e non sarà solo l’investigazione a tenerlo occupato.

In the tenth book in the Lord Peter Wimsey series, its protagonist goes undercover in an advertising agency to investigate the death of one of its employees. The police has ruled the death as an accident, but the owner of the agency is convinced that something sinister is going on in his offices. Disguised as Death Bredon, Lord Peter immerses himself not only in an investigation that includes drug dealers and blackmailers, but also in his new job as copywriter.

Murder Must Advertise is such an entertaining read. While the investigation is complex, intriguing, and with a long list of suspects, it was also fun to watch the impeccable Lord Peter take on an office job and write advertising. Also, the author takes inspiration from her personal experience as she worked as copywriter for Britain’s largest advertising agency from 1922 to 1929.
