Lately I have been developing quite a love for YA fantasy novels. I have been buying and reading lots of them. Aside a few rare exceptions, so far I have loved every book I have read. What they all have in common is a young strong smart heroine who has to save the world, usually together with the young man she falls in love with. The stories are captivating, the dialogues are witty.
There is romance, loyalties, and also laughter (with a few heart-breaking moments). I am really enjoying discovering this genre, so I thought I would share my favourite books so far:

– The Caraval trilogy by Stephanie Garber (my absolute favourite)
– Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin (the sequel, Blood & Honey, will be published in September and I am really looking forward to it)
– Shadow & Bone trilogy by Leigh Bardugo (the Netflix series based on the books is coming at the end of the year)
– The Folk of the Air trilogy by Holly Black (Fairies and mortals together for a magical story)
– Cursebreakers trilogy by Brigid Kemmerer (loosely based on Beauty and the Beast, the third book is coming out at the beginning of 2021)
– Dance of Thieves duology by Mary E. Pearson (just finished reading the second book and loved it)
– The Hazel Wood series by Melissa Albert (fantastic tales that come to life and beautiful writing)
– The Harbinger trilogy by Jennifer L. Armentrout (raced through the first two books and I can’t wait to read the great finale)
– The Winner’s Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski (I devoured it in a few days during the last Christmas holiday)
– The Shadow Between Us by Tricia Levenseller (a witty stand-alone novel that made me laugh a lot)

Enter magic world with these fantastic series!!!
