This was such a fantastic read. It’s suspenseful, twisty, and unpredictable and I read it in one afternoon. It’s the story of Alex, a man who comes home one night to find it on fire. His second wife, Natalie, claims not to know how the fire started, while his thirteen-year-old daughter Jade claims there was a stranger man in the house before the fire started. What really happened?
Told from different points of views and different perspectives, all the characters seem to be hiding something. You can’t trust the characters and I found myself completely gripped as the author slowly unravels the truth. I loved the unreliable characters, the claustrophobic atmosphere, and the gripping and well-written plot. This is an absolute must-read!
