Non ancora pubblicato in Italia. Due vicine di casa, un’amicizia che diventa tossica e pericolosa nel nuovo coinvolgente romanzo di Sabine Durrant.

How well do you know your neighbours? I grew up in a small town so I knew who my neighbours were, but when I went to live in the big bright city, I couldn’t tell you who lived next to me, if families, single people, couples… I have no idea! The latest psychological thriller by Sabine Durrant starts with the protagonist of the story, Verity, meeting her new neighbours for the first time. The Tilson family is beautiful and irresistible. The three well-behaved children, the handsome husband Tom, and Ailsa, the wife, to whom Verity is quickly drawn to. What starts as a relationship between neighbours turns into a dysfunctional friendship as Verity observes them and gets to know their problems, their secrets, especially the darkest one that they are trying to hide, because the Tilson family is not as perfect as it may seem…

We see the events in the book through Verity’s eyes and I found fascinating reading her thoughts on the family, her secrets, her fears, and her hopes. I became addicted to the story as things unravel out of control both for Verity and the Tilson family and I loved the ending. The characters are complex and multi-layered and Verity is very well-drawn. She gave me a sense of unease the whole time I was reading. Finders, Keepers is a brilliant, twisty, and immersive story that will keep you glued to the pages.
