Cari amici, visitiamo insieme il Parco Sakura nella provincia filippina di Benquet, gemellata con la prefettura giapponese di Kochi. Un’amicizia che fiorisce con gli alberi di ciliegio. E’ il primo parco in fiore di ciliegio, situato su un parco in cima a una montagna a 2000 metri sul livello del mare. Un posto fiabesco!
 
 
The first ever Sakura or Cherry Blossoms Park in the Philippines is at Benguet, Kochi Sisterhood Park, Cordillera Region. It is located in Atok, Benguet a mountain top park 2,000 meters above sea level. It is about 2 hours and 30 minutes away from Baguio City. The Sakura Park is a friendship park that commemorating the 40 years of Sisterhood  between Benguet and Kochi Prefecture of Japan.
 
 
In 2016, around 40 Japanese Sakura trees were planted in the Kochi Sisterhood park. There are two varieties of Sakura trees was planted, namely, Sindaya (white variety) and Yakiwari (pink variety). It is a magical moment as wondrous spectacle of these white or pink flowers blooming en masse. It is a great place to go for a picnic with the whole family and friends.
