Last year, for the first time, my all-time favourite author, Sophie Kinsella, published a Christmas novel set in the Shopaholic series. If you haven’t read this series, you definitely should. The protagonist, Becky Brandon née Bloomwood, is my favourite heroine. She is funny, smart, honest, authentic, and altruistic. She always gets herself in hilarious, ridiculous, and incredible situations that make me laugh out loud and she is surrounded by a cast of amazing characters that comes to life under Sophie Kinsella’s pen.
In this latest novel in the Shopaholic series, Becky is really looking forward to Christmas until she realizes that, this year, she will be hosting Christmas at her house and it won’t be easy to satisfy the wishes of her family and friends.
I adore this series and Christmas Shopaholic is one of my favourite. This novel is full of Christmas atmosphere, a fantastic and engaging plot, and a unique protagonist, so don’t miss it. Highly recommended!!!
