I had so much fun reading this novel. There are witches, curses, and romance. It’s brilliant.
When Vivienne was nineteen years old, she fell in love with Rhys, but then he broke her heart, so feeling drunk and feeling vengeful, she cursed him, even though she wasn’t worried that something bad would actually happen to him.
Nine years later, she is a professor at the local college and she is helping her aunt and cousin preparing for the annual fall festival when she runs into Rhys, who’s just back in town, and accidentally almost kills him. Rhys is supposed to stay in town just for a couple of days, but right from the beginning things go wrong for him and it is clear that Vivienne’s curse works and also really well because it doesn’t seem that Rhys is the only one affected by it.
I loved the characters, I loved the story, I loved the writing. I laughed so much and I couldn’t put it down. It’s the perfect read for fans of romance and magic. Highly recommended.
