Pubblicato in Italia con il titolo Il tuo ultimo gioco. La celebrazione di un matrimonio diventa tragedia e, un anno dopo, alcuni degli invitati si riuniscono per un gioco pericoloso…

What was supposed to be a joyous event, a wedding, turns into tragedy and one year later a group of friends reunite to celebrate the day. That’s the short summary for this amazing novel by Rachel Abbott. The longest version is that a group of childhood friends get together in a beautiful house in Cornwall to celebrate the wedding of one of them. But as secrets, lies, and jealousies come to light, events turn nasty. One year later, this same group of friends get together again in the same beautiful house. Why? To recreate exactly what happened a year ago. But, of course, things won’t go according to plan…

It is twisty, suspenseful, intense, and gripping with an Agatha Christie vibe that kept me glued to the pages. I love Rachel Abbott’s writing style and she drew a cast of annoying, complex and unreliable characters that will keep you guessing until the very end and you won’t be able to put it down.
