Non ancora pubblicato in Italia. Un romanzo accattivante e pieno di suspense su una giornalista in cerca della verità in una piccola città del North Carolina.

So far I have read quite a few novels featuring crime podcast and I have enjoyed them immensely. The Night Swim is the latest novel based on a podcast that solves a crime and it comes from an author that I loved last year with her novel The Escape Room.

The protagonist of the Escape Room is Rachel Krall whose crime podcast is one of the most famous in the country. She is going to North Carolina to cover the trial of a local golden boy accused of raping a teenager. But when she arrives, she is unwillingly dragged into the case of a young woman who died twenty-five years earlier. Her death had been classified as an accident, but her sister is convinced she was murdered. The more Rachel investigates, the more it seems the two cases are connected and could destroy the lives of many people.

Dark, gripping, and also emotional, this book will keep you glued, but it’ll also make you furious for the way the young women are treated by the community. Told from different perspectives, The Night Swim is a suspenseful must read for all crime lovers!
